This new construction of a single family home on Marquette, Michigan’s historic lower east side deploys novel double walled construction which allows for a super insulated construction. Using computer modelling, we were able to site and design the home in such a manner to maximize winter solar exposure while simultaneously limiting summer sun exposure.
